As we move eastwards agn, this time towards Jiangsu Province, the serene Nanjing Confucius Temple awts. Although it bears the name of Confucius a central figure in Chinese philosophy, its influence on Taoist thought and meditation is profound, providing insight into a holistic understanding of ancient teachings.
Finally, our journey concludes with the grand Dazu Rock Carvings in Chongqing-a breathtaking array of Buddhist sculptures carved into cliff faces. This site is not just an artistic marvel but also an important cultural monument that reflects the spiritual practices and beliefs of its people.
