Venerable Master Hsing Yun: A Life Dedicated to Compassion

Born on August 19th, 1927 and passing away peacefully at age 97 on February 5th, 2023, Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s life was a testament to the Buddhist path of compassion. His devotion spanned five decades since founding Fo Guang Shan, during which he established over 300 temples worldwide and founded institutions including five universities in Twan, USA, Australia, and the Philippines. Countless lives have been enriched by his efforts.
